Project Highlights
Strategic Location
- Close proximity to liquid pricing points and other market centers provides sufficient liquidity to execute multiple trading strategies.
- Situated east of major pipeline constraints in east Texas and western Louisiana providing customers 2.2 Bcf/d of unhindered access to downstream markets.
Diverse Market Access
- 4 direct and 3 indirect pipeline connections provide access to multiple sources of supply and premium downstream markets (access to 3.2 Bcf/d pipeline capacity)
- Bridgeline provides direct access to the large Louisiana natural gas market
Significant Physical Capabilities
- Facility capable of providing premium storage services to customers (peak 1.2 Bcf/d of withdrawal, peak 0.8 Bcf/d of injection, providing 6-turn service)
- Positioned to offer wheeling, park/loan, and balancing services (4 direct interconnects (2.0 Bcf/d I/C capacity), 3 indirect interconnects (~0.5 Bcf/d I/C capacity)
Familiar Geology
- Bully Camp Salt Dome was discovered in 1942 by Gulf Oil Corporation. The dome is a typical South Louisiana piercement structure
- Bulk of the dome is untouched except for two salt caverns in the southwest section that were leached to support sulfur mining activities that stopped production in 1978
- BCGS plans to leach two new caverns in a virgin section of the dome at a depth of 3600 feet.
Experienced Management Team
